ACCC team

This is the ACCC team, I choose the name for the group. I just figure it out because A is for Arik, C for Citlalli, C for Clover , and the last C for Cristina.

01
Research
During this part of the project, my team and I were searching for information on different company websites for grocery pick up. Additionally, I conducted research within the facilities, examined the location's poster and facilities, and took photos of various posters hanging in the school. I conducted this investigation with Cristina, and I also extensively explored the ACC website, where I found links related to Grocery Pick-Up and Amplify, as we were searching for two projects. It was very enjoyable to search for information and explore school websites.

02
Ideas

After conducting the research, my team and I created drawings for Grocery and Amplify. After two revisions, we showcased our designs and were selected to create the poster for Grocery Pick-Up with two other teams. We generated ideas, improved our designs, and ultimately chose one. Arik made modifications suggested by our group, and I created mockups of the design. We then presented it to the client, and they liked it but were more drawn to another group's Grocery poster. As a result, all the teams joined forces to enhance the chosen design.
03
Creative Brief
During this time, we created the Creative brief. That's what the research was for. We all created two Creative briefs, one for Grocery and one for Amplify. We had plenty of information, so we narrowed it down, added new elements, and shared our Creative briefs with all the groups. My team and I each provided a response to every question added to the Creative brief. In the end, I helped consolidate the ideas to answer each question. There were about 4 or 5 questions that I assisted in simplifying the responses for.

04
Feedback

We had several discussions about what we should add and modify for our ACCC design. We realized that we needed more space at the top of the poster and also needed to add and organize information better. When I created the mockups, I made the necessary changes to the poster with the updates and used the images I took from the school to create the mockups for the project. It was enjoyable.
Used Tools
The following are the tools I used to create the project with my teammates:

Figma
We used to add our contributions and mood boards.
I added a lot of information such as fonts, palettes, and sketches.

Adobe Indesign
I used to create my final digital draft for the posters.

Adobe Illustrator
I used to create my digital drafts and also to import files to InDesign.

My conclusion of this part of the project is that I found a way to participate in the project. The risk was that the ego would get in the way, but we helped our classmate and we found a solution.

Grocery Pick-Up
This is the Grocery Pick-Up team, after the ACCC team. We had different sections to complete the project; Social Media, Splash Screen and web Banner, and last but not least the Poster.

Process
01
Collaborative team
I feel that in this part of the project, I collaborated extensively with my teammates. I helped them accurately translate the design into Spanish and ensured that the Spanish designs had the correct accents and punctuation marks. I also assisted in creating the mockups and, until the end, I made sure to clean and organize the project files that my colleagues Danielle and Clover worked on. I ensured that the images were scaled properly, the colors were in RGB mode, and added paragraph styles. I feel that we all had great collaboration, not only within our subgroup but also within the entire team.

02
Feedback-Friendly Design
While we were working on the poster, we listened to the feedback provided by the client. Personally, I made sure to assist my colleagues in creating a document that contained the required information for the final poster. I appreciated that we discussed how to execute the project in a manner that met the client's requirements, such as changing the font and incorporating colors. I ensured that the mockups remained consistent with the client's requests and also aimed to create an inclusive atmosphere.
03
Communication
-
Despite some group communication issues, we made sure that everyone participated and listened to our colleagues' suggestions. We created successful solutions, and I am very happy that, in the end, we all did our best. I made sure to assign a role to Brooke since she joined later, and I also made sure to ask my teammates if I had any doubts about the project to fulfill my role most appropriately and professionally possible.

Used Tools
The following are the tools I used to create the grocery pickup project with my teammates:

Figma & Discord
We used to upload our process, add details of what we were doing, and vote for a design.

Gotham & Soap Font
These are the fonts that we used for the project. Gotham was the font that the client provided to us, and the Soap font was one that the Grocery Team chose.

Adobe InDesign
We used to create the tiles for Social Media. Also, I created the mockups, organized the information into paragraph styles, and I converted the CMYK colors into RGB mode.

Google Drive
This was very helpful to share the entire files, such as .psd, links, fonts, images, and zip files.

Adobe Illustrator
I used to scale the link images from the InDesign document.

Trello & Notion
This were pretty helpful to maintain organization about the steps that me completed, the ones that were in progress and the thing that we needed to do.

Final Conclusion
I like that in this last round of the project I have contributed a lot by helping with the translations, cleaning up the file, suggestions, making sure that everything was on track, as well to make everyone on the sub-team had a role in this project. The risk was that one of my classmates was not doing what she was supposed to do. I decided to distribute her work to be ready to share the finals with the whole group, and have the tiles and the mockups ready to go for the due date.
